How does the app work?

The app downloads data from the Gießen Student Union website, processes it, extracts relevant data, and converts it into a format required by the app. All of this happens locally on the user's device. Extraction patterns for data processing are loaded from a server if necessary.
Loading drinks
Since the Gießen Student Union currently does not provide digital information about its beverage offerings and prices, the accuracy of the prices and selection depends on input from the students themselves.
Beverage information is provided in a structured format from a dedicated server and can therefore be dynamically loaded and displayed in the app.
